Rait AS is connected to three sawmills through ownership. The three modern sawmills are processing softwood logs with small diameter originating predominantly from Estonian forest. The sawmills are jointly owned with Lemeks AS – one of the largest private forest management and harvesting companies in Estonia.<\/p>\n

All three sawmills are equipped with HewSaw technology, specially designed for processing small diameter logs. The annual production of the three mills is 200\u00a0000 m3 of sawn timber.<\/p>\n

Close connection to the sawmills and rawmaterial provides stability of supply to the further links in the value chain. The three mills are located in the different regions of Estonia thus covering large catchment area for logs.<\/p>\n

The operations and the sales of the three mills are run by the joint team of professionals.<\/td>\n
