Such systems:<br \/>\n&#8211; either penetrate the wood with specific salts to reduce the flammability of wood<br \/>\n&#8211; or an intumecent layer of paint with required thickness is applied which will swell with heat and form a protective layer<\/p>\n<p>In the event of fire such treatments delay or prevents the wood from burning thus reducing the spread of fire.<\/p>\n<p>In case of interest
